Why Coding?

Creating and building is fun for kids IRL – and in the digital world, too! While coding is just one element of computer science, it brings together many future-ready skills including computational thinking, algorithms and problem-solving. Regardless of whether they grow up to be computer scientists, today’s students need these skills to succeed in our digital world. An hour-long introductory coding project is a great way to find out if they want to learn more.
